My Mum was having a clear out and found my 

Graphic Design Degree Sketchbooks. 

It was fun looking through them and showing Joshua. 

Great for fresh inspiration even after nearly 12 years!

From Photo to Doodle

Doodling from a photo I took in Newark, then playing around in Photoshop!

I like using a simple colour palette and creating a variety of textures and effects. 

Not sure which one I like best yet...I may even carry on experimenting and

hope to sell it in my online shop.

Shadow Cat

Inspired by my cat who loves to stare at the wall! 

They have arrived!

Yay my Christmas Cards have arrived! I love them and I hope the people receiving them will do too!! Now I can't wait until I can start decorating the house!

Here is a sneak preview of my Christmas card design for this year! I am awaiting
for their arrival from the Post Office...very excited to see the finished article!

Octopus

An idea for a Children's Book...The Cat and the Octopus! I might just have
to write a little story about these two. Don't worry, I think the cat is a vegetarian!!

I have been exploring the Paper53 app and having

Novelty

This week's Illustration Friday! It is officially the first day of 

Autumn today in the UK, so here is a reminder of the Summer!

Lizzie on Facebook

I have finally set up a Facebook page for my illustrations and doodles! 

I am slowly creating archives of past work and creating new work! So 

stayed tuned...and my aim for the future is to start selling my work.

Radio

I remember listening to the radio with my sister back in

the 90's and taping the top ten!! We loved our jazzy tape

player from Boots too! Those were the days!!

Metamorphosis

I'm having a chilled Sunday afternoon doodling,

so here is my Illustration Friday! I love to doodle, 

especially using lettering. It helps me to relax

and collect my thoughts. Happy Sunday everyone!

            My cat loves to stretch out in the garden!

Travel

   I am drawing a little bit of my surroundings 

   each day whilst on holiday in Egypt. So thought 

   it would fit nicely with this week's Illustration Friday.

The Sketchbook Project 2012 Tour!

I finally got to see my sketchbook again on
it's final leg of the 2012 tour at The Canada
Water Library in London.

If you want to see it, then it will be permanently
archived in The Brooklyn Art Library, New York.

Fashion Show

Here is my design for a charity fashion show
in my home town of Melton Mowbray!

The charity is Hope for Justice, an amazing
organisation that is fighting against Human
Trafficking.
